Pollock Appointed to Alternative Dispute Resolution Program in Luzerne County

Press Release Date: 06/22/2009

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ronald H. Pollock, Jr., a partner with Barley Snyder, LLC, has been appointed to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program instituted recently in Luzerne County in response to allegations of judicial misconduct in the Luzerne County Bench. In a Court Order issued April 22, 2009, Pollock was among the attorneys and retired judges appointed to serve as Judges Pro Tempore for the conciliation and/or trial of specially-assigned civil cases. The Alternative Dispute Resolution Program is designed to expedite the resolution of pending civil cases in Luzerne County.

Pollock  is a trial lawyer who actively litigates matters in state and federal court. He concentrates his litigation practice in construction litigation and business disputes, catastrophic injury cases and personal injury law, as well as insurance coverage, bad faith cases and workers' compensation.   He frequently is selected as an arbitrator or mediator due to his experience and interest in assisting parties in reaching a compromise solution or litigated decision outside of the court system. He also counsels and represents clients in a variety of alternate dispute resolution forums. Pollock is a graduate of Lafyette College and the Dickinson School of Law.
