Keith Mooney, an associate in the law firm of Barley Snyder LLC, was appointed to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Constitutional Review Commission at its meeting on January 20, 2010.
Keith Mooney concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal, real estate and employment law. He received his B.A. from the University of Delaware and his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law. Keith currently serves on the board of directors for the Berks County Bar Association. Prior to joining Barley Snyder LLC, Keith was solicitor for the City of Reading. In addition to his work at the firm, Keith also serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Berks County.
Pennsylvania Bar Association President Clifford E. Haines publicly announced the creation of the PBA Constitutional Review Commission on February 23, 2010. The 30-member commission will conduct a thorough review of the state's Constitution and make recommendations to improve the structure and operation of government in the Commonwealth. Specifically, the commission will focus its efforts in the areas of legislative reapportionment, local government, public education, the structure of the General Assembly, and taxation and the uniformity clause.
