Reading, PA - The law office of Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that Tim Malloy has joined the firm as an associate in its Finance & Creditors’ Rights and Business groups. He has experience dealing with a number of business and corporate law matters, including issues regarding corporate governance, corporate income tax, tax planning, tax controversies, income tax accounting and international tax. Within the Finance and Creditors’ Rights group, he works on several matters including commercial lending, loan workouts and general collection matters.
Tim received his Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center where he served as an LL.M. mentor for students writing case notes for the Georgetown University Law Center Tax Publication. Tim earned his law degree, cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as a staff writer for the Duquesne Business Law Journal.
While attending Law School, Tim gained valuable experience working as a legal intern for the University of Pittsburgh Low Income Tax Clinic. He also worked as a legal intern for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.
