Michael’s 20-year career as a litigator didn’t take the traditional path, as he started out as private school teacher and even an electrician. But after more than 20 years as an attorney in his native Philadelphia – including 10 years at the prestigious Beasley Frim – Katz now lives in Lancaster County and his practice now focuses on commercial and fiduciary litigation.
Michael works out of Barley Snyder’s York office, bringing two decades of litigation experience in construction law, contracts, consumer protection, employment law, securities litigation and civil rights. He has tried cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has handled appeals in state and federal courts.
He’s also a published author – you can find his fiction work on Amazon – and puts his communication skills to good use in translating complex concepts for his clients and the courts.
