Indraneela Dixit has practiced law on two different continents and now works as a real estate attorney concentrating on commercial leasing for Barley Snyder. Since immigrating to the United States, her practice includes commercial real estate in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., area. She has represented national clients in leasing of both east and west coast shopping centers. That included negotiations, drafts and reviews of retail leases, lease amendments, lease termination agreements and lien waivers.
She has worked as an in-house counsel with a Washington D.C.-based real estate company and also as an attorney with a Maryland-based law firm.
She received her original law degree in her native India, and then worked for two different firms in India. She is fluent in the Hindi and Marathi languages, and immigrated to the Washington, D.C., area, where she worked as a real estate paralegal before returning to school and earning her American law degree at The George Washington University Law School in 2011.
