For Immediate Release
Zee and Walker, both members of the Barley Snyder Education Practice Group, will speak on student issues at the forum and how schools should deal with special circumstances. The event will be held from April 22 to 25 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas during the LRP’s National Institute on Legal Issues of Education Individuals with Disabilities.
The two presented together at the conference in 2017. This year, each will present separately. Zee will present his topic of “Restorative Justice for All: The Intersection of Behavioral Supports and the Implementation of Schoolwide Restorative Practices” while Walker will present on “Investigating and Responding to Student Sexualized Conduct.”
Both will present their separate seminar topics twice during the convention.
“When it comes to special education, this is one of the premiere learning events in the country,” said Zee, the chair of Barley Snyder’s Education Practice Group. “For Dave and I to be able to present at this two years in a row is a great honor. It’s well-attended and there is normally a strong central Pennsylvania contingent of educators who make the trip no matter where it is across the country.”
Visit the seminar website for more information or to register.
