Tim has amassed a large – and still growing – portfolio of deals and work since he joined Barley Snyder in 2014. As a member of the Business group, he’s helped close dozens of merger and acquisition deals through central Pennsylvania and beyond and worked with all types of corporate law matters.

As part of the Securities Practice Group, he’s worked on complex compliance issues for both publicly traded and closely held family businesses for companies such financial institutions, title companies and a food and beverage enterprise. He’s helped those businesses stay in business by keeping them compliant with federal and state regulations.

His work in the Finance & Creditors’ Rights space takes him into commercial lending and loan workouts. That dovetails into Tim’s work in the Tax group, where his recent Masters of Laws degree allows him to provide fresh and up-to-date tax advice for any size business.

During his time in Washington, D.C., studying to obtain an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University, Tim served as an LL.M. mentor for students writing case notes for the Georgetown University Law Center Tax Publication. While Tim was earning his law degree at Duquesne, he wrote as a staff writer for the Duquesne Business Law Journal, drawing him into the world of helping businesses achieve success amid ever-evolving changes in the financial environment.

A Berks County native, Tim started his path to Barley Snyder as a legal intern for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.
