Tim has amassed a large – and still growing – portfolio of deals and work since he joined Barley Snyder in 2014. As a member of the Business Practice Group, he’s helped close dozens of merger and acquisition deals throughout central Pennsylvania and beyond, while working also in all types of corporate law matters. Specifically in M&A, he's worked on purchase and employment agreements of medical companies.
As part of the Securities Practice Group, he’s worked on complex compliance issues for both publicly traded and closely held family businesses for companies such financial institutions, title companies and a food and beverage enterprise. He’s helped those businesses stay in business by keeping them compliant with federal and state regulations. Tim also has experience working with companies on employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), a popular way of selling a business to the company's employees.
His work in the Finance & Creditors’ Rights space takes him into commercial lending and loan workouts. That dovetails into Tim’s work in the Tax group, where his Masters of Laws degree allows him to provide fresh and up-to-date tax advice for any size business.
A Berks County native, Tim started his path to Barley Snyder as a legal intern for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office. He lives in Wyomissing with his wife – also a Wyomissing native – and son Tanner and daughter Logan. In 2019, Tim rode the "Bike MS: City to Shore Ride," a charity bike ride from the Cherry Hill, N.J., area to Ocean City, N.J.
