Aimee Kline is a member of the firm’s Education Law Practice Group, providing assistance in all aspects of the group. Her work has an emphasis on special education, and she provides efficient, cost-effective solutions for clients through the use of industry-leading technology.
For special education matters, Aimee utilizes cutting-edge e-discovery tools to effectively and efficiently process student record requests and prepare for special education due process hearings. Those same skills and resources allow Aimee to efficiently process voluminous requests for records under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law. Her work also includes extensive support and research in tax assessment matters, collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, administrative hearings and court proceedings at all levels of our state and federal courts.
Aimee assists the Education Practice Group with its #BarleyontheRoad initiative, where the group’s attorneys and professionals present on trending education topics in central Pennsylvania and beyond. Recent presentations have included focus on trauma-informed education, restorative justice, emergency preparedness, student services, human resources and other talked-about topics in Barley’s Pennsylvania footprint as well as Washington, D.C., Texas and Florida. Aimee supports the initiative by helping craft informative client alerts and preparing attorneys for their presentations.
Aimee also has an extensive background in civil litigation and mass complex toxic tort litigation.
