Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce the hire of Lauren D. Berkowitz as an immigration attorney at its Lancaster office.

Berkowitz worked as an immigration attorney in Philadelphia before returning to start her private immigration law practice in her hometown of Lancaster. The emphasis of her immigration practice is on employment-based visa matters.

Berkowitz is a Temple University Beasley School of Law graduate and has worked in the immigration law field since 2011. She has considerable experience obtaining nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for professional workers in a variety of industries.

She has dedicated a portion of her practice to pro bono legal work, and volunteers as an attorney with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center in York. She is also a member of the Pro Bono Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
