For Immediate Release
Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is proud to announce that attorney Brian A. Korman has been named to the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster.
Korman, a city resident and Lancaster County native, started at the firm in September and works in Barley Snyder’s Business and Real Estate practice groups. He is now part of the board at the club after serving on the ground level as a volunteer the last four years.
“The Boys & Girls Club is one of the most impactful community groups there is,” Korman said. “And the Lancaster-based clubhouses are a fine example of how the organization can make a difference in the neighborhoods it serves by providing local children and teens with a path for growth and development into successful young women and men. It’s an honor to be able to serve on this board.”
At Barley Snyder, Korman works with businesses in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, start-ups and entity formation, succession planning and buy-sell agreements for family-owned businesses.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster has played an integral role in the Lancaster community for over 75 years, providing daily programs and services to nearly 3,000 young people annually. The club is open daily throughout the summer and after school with programs that emphasize education and career enhancement, character and leadership development, health and life skills, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation. The club has two-neighborhood based clubhouses in Lancaster and one in Columbia. Additionally, the club serves youth through a “Community School” partnership with the School District of Lancaster.
