Originally from Lancaster County, Cody etches his name alongside other attorneys who have worked as summer associates at Barley Snyder and then have come back to work at the firm full-time as an attorney. He returns to his home area after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in political science from Drexel University and his law degree from the Drexel Univeristy Kline School of Law, where he concentrated in business and entrepreneurial law.
During his time in law school, Cody interned for the Hon. J. Curtis Joyner in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, interned with the in-house counsel at Brandywine Realty Trust and volunteered his time with the SeniorLAW Center.
At graduation from law school, the Pennsylvania Bar Association awarded Cody the Professor Louis Del Duca Memorial Award in Business Law, one of seven law school graduates in Pennsylvania who received the prestigious award. He also received the Carolyn Agger Award for Excellence in Federal Taxation from the Kline School of Law.
