Matt is a member of the Finance & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group, where his practice includes residential mortgage collections and related consumer collection activities.

Matt joins Barley Snyder from a Philadelphia-based, high-volume, mortgage default servicing firm having represented national banks and mortgage servicers in a variety of matters encompassing foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, title and defensive litigation. Matt has successfully handled complex litigation throughout Pennsylvania and in federal court, including jury and non-jury trials as well as appellate matters before the state's Superior Court and Supreme Court.  He also has provided valuable on-site training for national mortgage servicers addressing emerging trends in foreclosure litigation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Having spent his entire legal career representing national banks and mortgage servicers, Matt has developed an understanding of how to identify risks, limit exposure and obtain effective and prompt resolution through cost-effective litigation and settlement.
