York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is proud to announce that partner Paul W. Minnich has been named to the board of directors at WellSpan Health.
WellSpan Health is an integrated health system with more than 1,200 physicians that serves the communities of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. The organization includes advanced practice clinicians, a home care organization, six hospitals, more than 15,000 employees and more than 130 patient care locations.
“It is an honor to have the opportunity to be involved in the governance of an organization that is so important to our community,” Minnich said. “As a regional comprehensive healthcare provider, WellSpan plays such a dynamic and integral role in promoting health and wellness in our community.”
Minnich, a York native, is chair of Barley Snyder’s Litigation group and a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an elite group of litigation attorneys in the country that have obtained verdicts and settlements in individual cases of more than $2 million. In addition to serving as vice-chairman of WellSpan’s planning committee and chairman of WellSpan Specialty Services, Minnich is also involved in several other community organizations including the York County Bar Foundation and TrueNorth Wellness Services, where he serves on the board of directors and is immediate past president of both organizations.
