Alex Puskar Elected to the Luthercare Board of Directors

LANCASTER, Pa. – Barley Snyder attorney Alex Puskar was unanimously approved to join the board of directors for Luthercare. He began his new role on June 21.

“I am honored and excited for the opportunity to be part of such a great organization,” Puskar said. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members and the executive team in continuing Luthercare’s charitable mission.”

Puskar is an attorney in Barley Snyder’s Business and Tax practice groups. His practice includes extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, including assisting clients with the implementation of and transactions involving employee stock ownership plans. He works with corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies on many organizational matters, such as entity formation, compliance, contract review, tax planning, and business succession planning. He also counsels non-profit organizations in mergers and acquisitions, as well as filing for tax-exempt status and general compliance issues.

Puskar graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where he received both his B.A. and J.D. He also earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law.

Luthercare is a not-for-profit faith-based organization which was founded in 1949 to assist devoted congregations with living and care for seniors. Luthercare has continued to grow and to ensure seniors in Lancaster and Lebanon counties have access to an enriching, active and fulfilling lifestyle. Luthercare is also committed to children and families through its Luthercare for Kids Early Learning Programs.
