Alice is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Litigation practice groups with a background in the areas of environmental, energy and land use law. She is a strong advocate for her clients, effectively representing them in environmental litigation, regulatory and transactional matters.

Alice has experience advising clients on environmental issues related to the construction and operation of infrastructure projects, including natural gas pipelines, railways and wastewater treatment plants, as well as environmental remediation obligations at former industrial properties. She has particular experience with litigation matters involving CERCLA, HSCA, RCRA, the New Jersey Spill Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law, PFAS related issues, alleged constitutional violations, and common law tort claims including nuisance and trespass. She also advises clients on a variety of regulatory and transactional matters, including compliance with applicable federal and state regulations governing pesticide applications and wastewater discharges; property title issues related to bankruptcy and probate proceedings; and the availability of tax credits for brownfield property redevelopment.

Alice takes a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to her practice, working closely with clients, consultants, experts, government agencies, and opposing counsel to support strategic and effective legal outcomes. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, she worked at a boutique environmental law firm based in the Philadelphia suburbs and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert O. Baldi in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Alice graduated cum laude from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and completed a concentration in litigation and dispute resolution. During law school, Alice was a legal intern for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III in the Criminal Enforcement Division and the President of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Alice was an executive member of the Villanova Law Moot Court Board and advanced to the final round of the 60th Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition where she argued before the Honorable Susan P. Gantman of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the Honorable Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Alice graduated cum laude from Davidson College with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies.
