Barley Snyder Attorney Adam Boyer Named to United Way of Adams County Board of Directors

Gettysburg, Pa. – Barley Snyder attorney Adam Boyer has been unanimously appointed to the board of directors for the United Way of Adams County. He begins his new role on September 18.

United Way of Adams County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing vital services to the community in the areas of education, financial stability and health, according to its website. The organization offers resources such as “Ready to Learn,” which focuses on pre-K children and youth literacy efforts, as well as other initiatives like its annual “Back 2 School Supply Drive,” which provides backpacks and school supplies to over 600 youth from struggling families in school districts in Adams County and the Hanover area.

“United Way of Adams County is an amazing organization that impacts our community in numerous ways,” Boyer said. “As a board member, I am looking forward to furthering its mission and continuing this positive impact by enhancing its programs and services for individuals in need in Gettysburg and the surrounding area.”

Boyer is an attorney in Barley Snyder’s BusinessReal Estate and Trusts & Estates practice groups, in addition to being a licensed title insurance agent. He represents a wide variety of businesses and community organizations, helping them with their legal needs such as transition planning, financing and real estate matters. Boyer also assists individuals with their estate planning and administration needs.

A seventh-generation Adams County resident, Boyer is extremely active in his community and devotes his time to many organizations and causes. In addition to his newly appointed United Way board service, Boyer serves on the board of directors for Main Street Gettysburg, Adams County Bar Association and Adams County Bar Foundation, Mid-Penn Legal Services, Gettysburg Presbyterian Church and the York Springs Historical Society.
