Barley Snyder Attorney Andrew Mahon Named to Friends & Neighbors of Pennsylvania Board of Directors

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder attorney Andrew J. Mahon has been named to the Friends & Neighbors of Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors.

The Friends & Neighbors of Pennsylvania (F&N) is a nonprofit organization that provides aid to individuals and families in need within the York County community. F&N offers programs and resources, such as its Coordinated Street Outreach program, Stable Housing Collaborative and its Beacon Resource Center, that collectively work together to reduce homelessness and increase housing security. The organization also partners with other homeless service providers in the region such as the York County Coalition on Homelessness, WellSpan Health, County departments and more.

“It is an honor to join an organization whose efforts have helped many lives within the York community,” said Mahon. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the professionals at F&N and my fellow board members as we continue the fight in eliminating homelessness.”

Mahon is a member of Barley Snyder’s Immigration and Employment practice groups. With over a decade of experience, he concentrates his practice on immigration law, representing businesses and families seeking immigration benefits as well as defending individuals placed in removal proceedings. He also regularly provides presentations on immigration topics for lawyers, paralegals and community members. Outside the firm, Mahon serves as a volunteer lawyer with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
