Barley Snyder Attorney Emily Watkins Appointed to Lancaster County Community Foundation Board of Directors

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Emily C. Watkins has been appointed to the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The Lancaster County Community Foundation (LCCF) is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to investing in the future of Lancaster County and its residents for nearly a century. Through grants, scholarships, and collaborative initiatives, the LCCF supports causes such as education, healthcare, the arts, social services, and community development. To date, the Foundation has managed and distributed more than $220 million in community assets, benefiting Lancaster County annually.

“I’m truly honored to join the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s board,” said Watkins. “As someone who cares deeply about Lancaster and recognizes the vital role that diverse community benefit organizations play in making our region stronger, I’m excited to be involved with an organization that is able to support so many of them. I look forward to working with the Foundation to help further its mission and create lasting, meaningful impact across our community.”

Watkins is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group where she focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, long-term care planning, and elder law. Her appointment to the LCCF Board continues her longstanding commitment to nonprofit service, having previously served as a member of the Generosity Group. In addition to her role with LCCF, Watkins is also a board member and chair of the Finance Committee for The Lancaster Science Factory.
