Lancaster, Pa. – The Lancaster Law Foundation has named Barley Snyder attorney Amanda Jabour Kowalski to its board of directors.

The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Lancaster Bar Association. The foundation’s mission is to promote equal access to justice for all in Lancaster County by funding public interest law projects, delivering pro bono service and educating the public on civic and legal issues.

Kowalski’s board position was transitioned to her from Barley Snyder attorney, Sarah Yocum Rider, who served on the board for many years.

“The Lancaster Law Foundation is an important part of the bar association,” Kowalski said. “Its core mission to work for equal access to justice is important to the Lancaster community, particularly now when many people are looking for ways to be proactive about social justice. It’s exciting to be a part of an organization that can make positive change.”

Kowalski is an attorney in the Barley Snyder Business Practice Group, as well as its Cybersecurity and COVID-19 Response service teams and the firm’s Banking Industry Group. She is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
