Lancaster/York, Pa. – The partnership at law firm Barley Snyder has elected Jeff Lobach to serve another term as Barley Snyder’s managing partner.
Lobach will continue as the firm’s managing partner in 2022 and 2023 starting Jan. 1. The managing partner is the firm’s CEO, overseeing operations as well as the long-term planning for the firm. With the latest reelection, Lobach will be Barley Snyder’s longest-serving managing partner.
In his eight years in this role, the firm has nearly doubled in size, from 55 attorneys to almost 110 currently. The firm also has opened five new offices, moved its Malvern office to a larger location and conducted extensive renovations of its York and Hanover offices. He also successfully guided the firm through the COVID-19 shut down.
“I’d be less than truthful if I said this has been an easy two years, because it hasn’t. It hasn’t been easy for anyone,” he said. “But the grit, the tenacity and the strength I saw from our firm’s attorneys and staff since March 2020 has inspired me to continue as the firm’s managing partner. I am honored that the firm’s partnership believes in me enough to trust me with this task.”
Lobach is a member of the firm’s Business, Finance & Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate and Education practice groups, as well as the Construction, Health Care, Banking and Hospitality industry groups. He has been named to “The Best Lawyers in America” list each year between 2013 and 2022 for his work in the Commercial Litigation and Corporate Law practice areas, and for Real Estate Law in 2022. For the 2021 “Best Lawyers” list, he was named “Lawyer for the Year” for Corporate Law in the Harrisburg area.
He also carries a healthy agenda of volunteer service to the York-area community, for organizations like WellSpan Health, the York County History Center, the York County Community Foundation, the Boy Scouts and others.
