York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is a proud sponsor of the Women in Law Scholarship for the 2023 Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition. This is the second consecutive year the firm has sponsored the scholarship.
The Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition, held annually in York, Pennsylvania, is a preliminary to the Miss America Competition. Young women throughout the Commonwealth compete for scholarships and the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss America. The Miss PA Scholarship Foundation partners with local organizations and businesses to raise funds for these scholarships.
“It is an honor to contribute educational funding to the Miss PA Scholarship Foundation which benefits talented and dedicated young women throughout our state who are striving for success,” said Managing Partner Jeff Lobach. “We are proud to help the next generation of female leaders achieve their goals.”
This year, Haley Passione, Miss Iron City 2023, of Pittsburgh was the recipient of the Barley Snyder Women in Law Scholarship. In 2022, Cecilia Petrush, Miss Three Rivers PA 2022, was awarded the Women in Law Scholarship.
This year’s competition was held at the historic Appell Center for the Performing Arts on June 15-17. Barley Snyder seeks to empower women and celebrate their achievements, and the firm is a proud supporter of local women organizations across our footprint.
