Curtis is a member of Barley Snyder, continuing a longstanding tradition of summer associates returning to the firm.

Curtis attended Widener University Commonwealth Law School where he graduated third in his class. During law school, Curtis worked as a judicial clerkship extern for the Honorable Susan E. Schwab, U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. In this role, he conducted extensive legal research, drafted judicial opinions, briefed Judge Schwab regarding pending cases, and prepared memoranda discussing complex legal issues. He also collaborated with chambers clerks in reviewing complaints from pro se litigants in accordance with complaint screening requirements.

Curtis was President of the Federal Bar Association for the Widener University Commonwealth Law School Chapter and the Internal Managing Editor for the school’s Law Review. He also served as a panelist and speaker at the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society’s Medical Venue Panel, conducting extensive legal research and analysis to participate in the debate of a recent venue rule change for medical malpractice lawsuits.

The Mountain Top native earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Saint Joseph’s University with a concentration in Food Marketing as well as Leadership, Ethics, and Organizational Sustainability. 

Outside of the firm, Curtis is an avid golfer who enjoys competing in local amateur tournaments. He also enjoys going to the gym and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
