The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of law firm experience in the following areas: entity name reservations, formation documents, qualifications, mergers and dissolutions; corporate due diligence; tracking and maintaining multiple entities, minute books and other corporate records; organizing and assisting with transactions and closings; initial drafting of basic corporate and real estate documents, resolutions and various agreements and preparing closing checklists and binders; researching real property records and databases; reviewing title commitments and drafting title review letters; researching and reviewing zoning ordinances. Familiarity with SEC filings, mergers and acquisitions and securities work a plus. A four-year college degree and paralegal certificate preferred. Ideal candidates would possess excellent communication, organizational and client service skills.
