Legal Application & Document Specialist

Barley Snyder, a regional law firm of more than 120 attorneys, has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Application & Document Specialist.

This hybrid role combines membership in the IT Team / Help Desk, responsible for providing support for the various legal software applications, as well as high level document triage support.

The Legal Application & Document Support Specialist will provide concierge level software application support to our professionals and staff either desk side, phone, email or via Microsoft Teams. This position will require the candidate to become a subject matter expert in specialized legal applications and technology. 2+ years of Law Firm Legal Administrative support in multiple areas of law required. Familiarity with document management systems and other legal applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong proofreading, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines. Must demonstrate proven ability to function within a professional team environment.

Firm core applications include: Windows 10, MS Office 365, iManage Work, Best Authority, Litera Desktop Suite, Adobe Acrobat, BEC Legal CoreRelate, BigHand Create, DocuSign, ShareFile, MS Teams, Zoom. Knowledge of Camtasia a plus.

Business Attorney

We are looking for an entrepreneurial attorney interested in developing a diverse business practice with immediate, significant client contact. The successful candidate will be a mid-level attorney (four-to-six years of experience) with substantial experience in the areas of general business, corporate, front end loans and mergers and acquisitions, preferably within a midsize to large firm setting. We have a strong, market-leading M&A practice and focus heavily on family businesses. Communications Coordinator

Real Estate Assistant

Barley Snyder, a regional law firm with more than 120 attorneys, seeks a Real Estate/Title Assistant to provide administrative support to the real estate attorneys and paralegals in its Harrisburg office. Duties will include ordering title searches, tax lien certificates, water/sewer bills, tax certifications and other real estate related searches. Individual will maintain and support activities related to real estate closings and complete any assigned settlement and post-settlement functions. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to be on a paralegal career track.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or appropriate administrative experience may be substituted for education.  Paralegal certification is a plus.
