Avey is a paralegal in Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, where she supports attorneys and clients through all stages of estate administration. She has more than a decade of legal experience. Her attention to detail and practical experience make her a valuable resource to both attorneys and clients.
Avey brings extensive experience handling the estate administration process, including probate, preparing legal notices and advertisements, marshaling assets and debts, coordinating appraisals and real estate transactions, and preparing and filing Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns, family settlement agreements, and closing status reports. She communicates regularly with clients, accountants and other professionals to help ensure matters proceed efficiently and accurately.
In addition to her trusts and estates work, Avey has experience supporting related matters involving municipal law, real estate transactions, and estate planning. She earned her associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Berks Technical Institute.
Cassidy is a paralegal in Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Prior to joining the Trusts & Estates team as a paralegal, Cassidy worked as a legal administrative assistant at the firm.
Cassidy’s work includes:
- Preparing probate petitions and related filings;
- Preparing Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns;
- Coordinating appraisals and valuations;
- Maintaining estate and trust accounts; and
- Preparing detailed accountings.
- Assisting with asset distributions while maintaining clear communication with clients and collaborating with advisors and other professionals.
Cassidy earned her B.A. in Political Science from Penn State University and is a Pennsylvania Notary Public. Outside of work, Cassidy spends her time reading, baking, and working on various craft projects. She loves to bake sourdough for her friends and coworkers.

Stephanie is a paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. She brings extensive experience from the mortgage banking industry, where she spent eight years supporting real estate transactions from application through closing and post-closing. Her background includes preparing, reviewing, and reconciling loan and closing documents; coordinating with title companies, lenders, attorneys and borrowers; and ensuring compliance with regulatory and investor requirements. She is well-versed in title review, escrow coordination, and deadline-driven transaction management.
Before joining Barley Snyder, Stephanie served in various roles including loan processor, loan closer, post-closer and funder, managing high-volume files while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Her experience working closely with attorneys and title professionals allows her to anticipate transaction needs and contribute to efficient, well-organized closings. Stephanie is known for her strong organizational skills, clear communication style, and commitment to delivering high-quality client service. She loves spending time with her family, including her granddaughter. In addition, she breeds, raises, and shows bucking bulls.
As a bilingual paralegal, Celia supports the Employment and Immigration attorneys at Barley Snyder. She assists with family and employment-based matters including Adjustments of Status, Naturalizations, employment petitions, and the preparation of USCIS applications. Before joining Barley Snyder, Celia worked with other immigration firms where she assisted with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases, research on country conditions, translating legal documents and interpreting for clients.
Celia graduated from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies and a minor in political science. She aspires to continue growing her legal knowledge and expertise by working alongside such a knowledgeable and dedicated team. During her free time, Celia enjoys playing volleyball and being active.

Keanna is a paralegal in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group with a reputation for delivering high-quality service. She thoroughly enjoys meeting with clients and helping them through the estate administration process. Keanna helps clients and attorneys with various aspects of the estate administration process, including opening the estate, preparing and filing of all required Estate documents, liquidating assets, preparing Inheritance Tax Returns, family settlements and closing the estates.
Outside of the firm, Keanna enjoys spending her time reading and watching her fiancé race at the dirt race track. She is also an avid bowler, continuing her legacy as a previous member of the University of Kutztown Women’s Bowling team!
Dawn is a paralegal in the firm’s Finance & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. She brings over 40 years of experience in the legal field to Barley Snyder, focusing primarily on bankruptcy, debtor and creditors’ rights areas of law. Her attention to detail benefits the firm’s attorneys and clients.
Kaleigh is a paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group where she assists with various real estate and title matters. In her role, Kaleigh supports attorneys by reviewing title commitments and related documents as part of the due diligence process in a real estate transaction. She also assists with property research and the review of municipal ordinances in connection with land use and development matters. She reviews agreements of sale and lease agreements to identify key dates and tasks to help with project/matter organization. In addition, Kaleigh prepares real estate and title documents, attends closings, and serves as a Notary Public. She assists clients with the formation of homeowners associations as well.
Prior to becoming a paralegal, Kaleigh worked as a legal assistant where she gained valuable experience preparing real estate and title-related documents while providing administrative support to attorneys. She is a graduate of Liberty University where she earned her B.S. in Law and Policy: Pre-Law in only two years.
Outside of the firm, she enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and swing dancing.
