For Immediate Release

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is proud to announce the hire of longtime York County attorney Larry C. Heim, who has been practicing in the York area for more than 40 years.

The addition of Heim bolsters the firm’s already impressive strength in litigation and will further the efforts of its Hospitality Industry Group, which formed in 2018. Heim has a wealth of experience in both litigation in local, state and federal cases and in the hospitality industry helping businesses obtain and defend their liquor license.

Heim will be based out of the firm’s York office. He said joining Barley Snyder will elevate his practice thanks to its abundant resources as one of central Pennsylvania’s largest firms.

“I have worked closely with Barley Snyder lawyers for more than 20 years,” Heim said. “It is with great pride that I join a team of top litigators and take my practice to the next level. An index finger may be strong, but it pales in comparison to the power of a clenched fist.”

Barley Snyder managing partner Jeff Lobach said adding Heim is a win for the firm considering his impressive connections to York County both professionally and through decades of community service.

“What Larry brings to the firm is almost immeasurable,” Lobach said. “Professionally, he’s one of the best litigators in central Pennsylvania, let alone York County. He adds to the credibility to our new and growing Hospitality Industry Group with his decades of work with liquor licenses. Personally, he’s extremely well-liked and respected in all corners of the county. We are delighted that Larry is joining us.”

In addition to his legal work, Heim has held leadership positions in charities throughout York County, Pennsylvania and nationally with organizations such as the Easter Seals Society, the United Way and the Cosmopolitan Diabetes Foundation. He is also involved with a number of masonic organizations throughout central Pennsylvania.
