For Immediate Release

Lancaster, Pa. – The American Arbitration Association recently announced that it has accepted Barley Snyder attorney Lindsey M. Cook as a panelist in its organization.

Being accepted into the group puts Cook in a select group of attorneys, including former federal and state judges, that is endorsed by the group to perform alternative dispute resolution tactics in cases both locally and across the country.

In 2020, arbitration association admitted Judge Stephen P. Linebaugh, the chair of the Barley Snyder Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Service Team, as a panelist. The association holds its members to strict codes of ethics and model standards of conduct to ensure fairness and impartiality in conflict management.

“Being admitted to the American Arbitration Association is a great honor for me,” Cook said. “I am proud to have been selected to join such a highly regarded organization, and I look forward to providing litigants with efficient, fair resolution of complex legal disputes.”

Cook is an attorney in the Barley Snyder Litigation Practice Group and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where she continues to serve as a senior coach for the University’s national trial team. Child Care Consultants Inc. recently named her to its board of directors, and she is also on the executive board at Coalition for Smart Growth in Lancaster.
