Lancaster, Pa. – The readers of the Hanover Evening Sun have chosen Barley Snyder Partner Jeremy D. Frey the best lawyer in the Hanover area.

The results of the annual Readers’ Choice Awards were released in the Evening Sun on Sunday, where Frey was the top vote-getter in the “Best Lawyer/Law Practice” category. Voters credited Frey’s range of legal expertise and in business and real estate transactions, the areas he focuses his practice.

“To know that I’m so trusted within the community is something I don’t take for granted,” Frey said. “It’s a great responsibility and I’m going to work to keep the public’s trust.”

Frey serves as general counsel to numerous businesses, advises business clients in the purchase and sale of businesses and commercial properties, represents banks and businesses in financing transactions and represents individuals in residential real estate transactions. He is also part of the firm’s new Food & Agribusiness Industry Group.

Frey is a past president at the Hanover YMCA and is on the organization’s board of directors and is a member of the Rotary Club of York.

He’s one of the half-dozen attorneys in the Hanover office at 14 Center Square, a number that includes three partners. The attorneys in the office specialize in a number of areas, including business, real estate, food and agribusiness, employment, litigation, tax and personal planning.
