York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Kimberly A. Kipnis has been named to the board of directors of the York Literacy Institute (YLI).

The York Literacy Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through literacy and lifelong learning. The YLI offers free and low-cost educational programs for adults focused on reading, writing, math, and English language learning. These programs equip learners with the tools they need to thrive at work, at home, and in their communities. As a member of the board, Kipnis will help guide the strategic direction of the YLI and support its mission to provide accessible literacy education and resources to residents across York County.

“I am thrilled to contribute my experience to the York Literacy Institute’s mission,” said Kipnis. “Providing literacy skills opens the door to so many opportunities for YLI’s students, empowering them to succeed both personally and professionally. I’m honored to help expand that impact in our community.”

Her commercial litigation practice focuses on contractual disputes and collection matters across diverse industries, while her fiduciary litigation work involves disputes related to wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
