For Immediate Release

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Kareemah Mayer has been named to the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster.

Mayer replaces firm attorney Brian Korman, whose term ended earlier this year. Mayer has volunteered at the club for the last year.

The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster has played an integral role in the Lancaster community for more than 75 years, providing daily programs and services to nearly 3,000 young people each year. The club is open daily throughout the summer and after school. The club has three neighborhood-based clubhouses in Lancaster and one in Columbia.

“The Boys & Girls Club is an incredible resource for the youth of the county,” Mayer said. “To help keep thousands of children safe and cared for is a daunting challenge that the club meets head-on each year. I’m excited to be part of the team that will make sure this continues for future generations.”

Mayer is an attorney in the Barley Snyder Employment Practice Group. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received the schools 2018 Student Leadership award.
