Malvern, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce the hire of John L. Janick as a patent attorney in our Malvern office.
Janick has more than a decade of experience as a patent attorney in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in mechanical engineering before entering Widener University School of Law. His mechanical engineering background was born out of a passion for and participation in motorsports both as a child and as a current hobby.
“The intellectual property team at Barley impressed me from the start,” Janick said. “There is a great deal of knowledge in a number of industries and disciplines here, and it’s a team I wanted to be a part of.”
Janick will be based in Barley Snyder’s Malvern office and is the firm’s seventh patent attorney registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
“The growth in our office has been incredible in the last few years,” said Salvatore Anastasi, partner and chair of the Barley Snyder Intellectual Practice Group. “Bringing on John, with his experience and knowledge of patenting in the mechanical arts, will be a very important boost to our group.”
Janick lives in Ambler, Pa., with his wife and two children.
