Lancaster, Pa. – As Barley Snyder celebrates 70 years of service, the firm has once again been named a “Legacy Business Honoree” by the Central Penn Business Journal.

Barley Snyder was originally recognized on the inaugural Legacy Businesses list in 2025, which honors organizations  demonstrating sustained success, resilience and adaptability in an evolving business environment. This continued recognition underscores the firm’s long-standing commitment to excellence and its ability to evolve alongside the needs of its clients and communities.

The Legacy Business designation is awarded to companies based in Central Pennsylvania that have been in operation for at least 25 years and have demonstrated long-term growth, stability and impact in the region.

“We are honored to be recognized again as a Legacy Business by the Central Penn Business Journal,” said Managing Partner Jennifer Craighead Carey. “Being included on this list for a second year reflects the strength of our team, the trust of our clients and the enduring values that have guided our firm for decades.”

Since its founding 70 years ago, Barley Snyder has grown to more than 120 attorneys across 11 offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland, while continuing to expand its capabilities and invest in innovative solutions to better serve clients. The firm provides counsel across a range of practice areas, including business, litigation, employment, real estate, finance and intellectual property, and supports key industries such as health care, senior living, manufacturing, trade, food & agribusiness, construction, hospitality and higher education. It remains deeply committed to delivering high-quality legal services, fostering long-term client relationships and supporting the communities where its employees live and work.
