Malvern, Pa. – Two suburban Philadelphia-based publications recently named Barley Snyder partner Salvatore Anastasi as a top attorney in the region.

The Daily Local News named Anastasi to its “Best Lawyers 2021 Readers Choice Awards” of Chester County in July, and Main Line Today, based in Newtown Square, named him to its 2021 “Top Lawyers Around the Main Line and Western Suburbs.”

Both recognitions for Anastasi were in the field of intellectual property. The Daily Local News recognition came through a reader vote, while the Main Line Today award came through a peer vote.

“I am very humbled that both the public and my peers felt compelled to include me in these recognitions,” Anastasi, the chair of the Barley Snyder Intellectual Property Practice Group, said. “Satisfying a client’s needs is what motivates me, so these recognitions by them and my peers is the kind of feedback that is exciting and truly gratifying.”

Anastasi is the treasurer and a member of the board of directors of the American Intellectual Property Association (AIPLA). He also is an AIPLA Fellow and is a member of the organization’s Patent Harmonization Task Force. The group strives to improve both procedural and substantive patent rules/laws around the world. Locally, Anastasi is a board member at the Brandywine Regional Airport.
