Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder partner Joshua L. Schwartz has been named to the Touchstone Foundation’s Board of Directors.
The Touchstone Foundation: Youth Mental Wellness Partners is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of young people. Through a range of innovative programs and partnerships, the nonprofit organization works to provide resources, education and direct support for youth facing mental health challenges. In addition, Touchstone is committed to investing in the future of the mental health profession through programs like the Mental Health Careers Scholarship and the Mental Health Clinical Fellowship – both tailored towards empowering students pursuing careers in the mental health field.
“I am honored to join the Touchstone Foundation and help further its mission of expanding youth mental health access in Lancaster County,” said Schwartz. “I’m thrilled to contribute to the Foundation’s efforts in breaking the stigma around mental health and providing exceptional care to members of our community.”
Schwartz is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation and Employment practice groups and chairs the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Appellate practices. He concentrates his practice on employment counseling and litigation, labor law and workers’ compensation matters. He regularly represents public and private employers in litigation matters, administrative agency investigations, labor arbitrations and commercial litigation. Furthermore, Schwartz serves as Assistant General Counsel at the firm. In addition to his new role with Touchstone, Schwartz serves on the board of directors for the Ephrata Performing Arts Center and can be seen performing in community theatre productions and cabarets throughout central Pennsylvania.
