York, Pa. – Barley Snyder partner Michael J. Crocenzi has been named a “Lawyer of the Year” by The Best Lawyers in America® in its 31st edition, marking the third consecutive year he has received this recognition.
The esteemed “Lawyer of the Year” award is bestowed on attorneys who earn the highest peer review ranking in a practice area within their geographic area. Crocenzi was named a “Lawyer of Year” in “Employment Law – Management” in the Harrisburg metro area. More than 23 million votes were analyzed for the 31st edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, which resulted in more than 80,000 leading lawyers named to the Best Lawyers list. Of that 80,000, only 5,689 attorneys were named a 2025 “Lawyer of the Year”.
Crocenzi is a partner in Barley Snyder’s Employment and Litigation practice groups. With more than three decades of experience, Crocenzi provides his clients with practical solutions for a wide variety of employment issues and helps them develop strategies to avoid or minimize risks.
Outside of the firm, Crocenzi is active in his York County community. He currently serves as Board Vice President of the York County Bar Foundation and as a board member of the Blessed by Wolfgang organization. In addition, Crocenzi works as an adjunct professor at Messiah University, passing on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of leaders.
