Barley Snyder Welcomes IP Attorney Michael Jannuzzi to Malvern Office

For Immediate Release

Malvern, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that it has added new intellectual property attorney Michael A. Jannuzzi in its Malvern office.

Jannuzzi is the newest member of Barley Snyder’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Joining the firm in early September, he recently received news of passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in October, along with four other new associates. Prior to joining Barley Snyder full-time, Jannuzzi completed a co-op at the firm in fall of 2023.

“It is an honor to return to Barley as I begin my professional law career,” said Jannuzzi. “I’m thrilled to work alongside some of the top IP professionals and provide exceptional legal services to our clients.”

Jannuzzi earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University where his interest in patent law emerged. He interned with Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials, where he created designs in SOLIDWORKS that were fabricated and delivered to the factory. This experience further enhanced Jannuzzi’s desire to pursue patent law so he could help inventors secure rights in the designs they create. Jannuzzi went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law where he graduated in the top 15% of his class.

During law school, Jannuzzi was a member of Drexel’s Intellectual Property Law Society which aims to keep students updated on the many facets of IP law. He also worked as a summer associate at a niche intellectual property law firm where he gained experience with claim drafting, prior art searches, and other matters relating to patent prosecution.

“We are excited to welcome Mike back to Barley Snyder and continue to expand our group of talented IP attorneys,” said Salvatore Anastasi, partner and chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. “I have seen Mike’s hard work and dedication firsthand and believe he will be a great asset to the firm and our IP clients.”
