Barley Snyder’s Jennifer Craighead Carey Named to City & State PA’s Law Power 100

Lancaster, Pa. – Jennifer Craighead Carey has been named to the Law Power 100 by City & State PA as one of the most powerful people in the legal profession in Pennsylvania.

Craighead Carey was profiled in a special issue on June 27 along with other top-ranking partners in Pennsylvania’s leading law firms, law schools, the judiciary, government and advocacy groups. The award honors established leaders with proven track records of community service and business accomplishments, and who influence others through their personal successes and achievements.

A partner in Barley Snyder’s Employment Practice Group, Craighead Carey concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment law and associated litigation, and serves on the Management Committee, as Crisis Management Service Team Chair and as Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair at Barley Snyder. In her practice, she serves as both counselor and litigator and has handled cases at both the administrative level and in state and federal court for clients of all sizes and in all industries. Additionally, Craighead Carey is devoted to community service and serves on the board of directors for the High Holdings Corporation, Fulton Financial Corporation, Fulton Bank, N.A., and Lancaster City Alliance. She serves on the equity and inclusion steering committee for WellSpan Health and is the past chair for the United Way of Lancaster County. Jennifer also has been recognized in Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Black Corporate Directors and as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the past 13 years in a row.
