Catherine is a seasoned attorney in the firm’s Business and Litigation practice groups and a member of the Food & Agribusiness Industry Group. She advises food, agricultural, and manufacturing companies on regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies, helping clients navigate complex legal requirements while supporting their business operations. She has experience guiding clients through the intricacies of crisis management, food and product contamination and recall, insurance coverage, and casualty litigation matters.
Catherine advises clients on matters including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, co-packing agreements, private labeling, and other industry-specific issues. She combines a practical, solutions-oriented approach with a deep understanding of the regulatory and business challenges her clients face, helping them achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively. Her work also extends to broader business matters, including contract drafting, review and negotiation, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. Catherine’s guidance enables food and agricultural companies to operate with confidence in a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
A recognized leader in her field, Catherine was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List in 2022. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, Catherine practiced at an insurance coverage law firm in Montgomery County. Her experience representing insurers gives her valuable insight when advocating for clients on the business side.
Outside of the office, Catherine is dedicated to mentorship and community engagement. She serves as an Alumni Mentor Volunteer for the Penn State Liberal Arts Alumni Mentor Program and as a Professional Mentor for Temple University Beasley School of Law Women’s Law Caucus. In her free time, Catherine enjoys activities such as reading, knitting, traveling, yoga and hiking.
