Barley Snyder business and real estate attorney Jeremy Frey secured approval for a rum distillery in Hanover, PA on behalf of his clients.

The Penn Township zoning board voted to approve a distillery that will be located along Baltimore Street in Hanover, PA and used to manufacture rum. With some stipulations on material delivery and quantities produced, the distillery will be regulated by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

“While this is a business that is unique and new that may not have been seen in the township before, I think that this is going to improve the property,” Frey said.

Frey regularly represents clients in the areas of planning, negotiation and execution of business and real estate transactions, real estate development, land use and zoning matters, real estate assessment appeals, business and real estate financing, and business planning. He also works with clients on stock and asset purchases and sales and mergers between various types of business entities.

More information on the rum distillery can be found in the Evening Sun’s news article here
