Kacey is a business and M&A attorney who advises companies at all stages of the business lifecycle, from formation through exit. A military veteran, she brings discipline, leadership, and a solutions‑oriented mindset to her work, helping entrepreneurs, founders and established businesses navigate complex transactions and day‑to‑day business matters with clarity and confidence.
Kacey works closely with business owners and management teams to provide practical, strategic advice tailored to each client’s operational needs and long‑term goals. Her practice includes advising on entity formation and structure, drafting and negotiating governance documents – including operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements and partnership agreements – and counseling clients on a wide range of day‑to‑day business matters such as contract review, risk management, and operational decision‑making.
Kacey represents buyers, sellers and investors in a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales, buyouts and financings. She also has experience advising clients in highly regulated industries, including healthcare and financial services, on compliance considerations and risk‑mitigation strategies, bringing a practical, business‑focused approach to navigating regulatory frameworks.
Prior to joining the firm, Kacey practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm, where she supported sophisticated corporate matters and complex transactions. Her experience included conducting and managing due diligence and drafting and negotiating a broad range of transactional and commercial agreements.
Kacey served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for more than a decade, providing cyber systems and technology support as part of a combat communications squadron. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Outside the office, Kacey enjoys cooking, golf, hiking, reading and spending time with her daughter.
