Lancaster City Alliance Names Attorney John Reed New Chairman

Lancaster, PA – The law firm of Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that John Reed has been named chairman of the board of directors for Lancaster City Alliance. John will serve a 2 year term in this role. He previously served as vice chair and founding director. The Lancaster City Alliance’s mission is to Identify & prioritize opportunities that foster collaborative solutions to empower the community in building a clean, safe and economically vibrant City of Lancaster.

John is the chair of the firm’s Business Law group and Family Business Law group. His primary practice is comprised of two separate but related areas: (i) counseling family owned and closely held businesses; and (ii) buying and selling businesses, and in many cases, acting as a general counselor for the business on an ongoing basis after the transaction is completed. 

John received his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Wyoming.
