Recognizing Juneteenth

Published on

June 17, 2017

In honor of the celebration of Juneteenth 2021, the Crispus Attucks Community Center, through the Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County, has produced a video series celebrating the connection between trailblazing leaders in Lancaster County, the distinguished community members that are currently following in their footsteps and the next generation of they are inspiring to pursue their dreams. Please take a few moments listen to the powerful words of partner Jennifer Craighead Carey, local attorney Kareemah Mayer, and a recent graduate of Lancaster McCaskey High School as they talk about the importance of seeing black females in the legal profession, as role models and as mentors.
