Barley Snyder Attorney Beth Kohl Named to Berks County Bar Association Board of Directors

Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder attorney Beth M. Kohl has been elected to the Berks County Bar Association’s Board of Directors. Her new role was effective January 1, 2025.

The Berks County Bar Association (BCBA) has stood as a legal cornerstone in the Berks community since its inception in the mid-1800s. With more than 500 affiliated attorneys, the non-profit organization is dedicated to advancing the legal profession by fostering professional excellence, promoting collegiality, and advocating on its behalf. Additionally, the BCBA works to serve the community through the publication of the Berks County Law Journal, offering public educational programs, ensuring access to justice, and safeguarding the integrity of the legal system in Berks County.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role with the Berks County Bar Association, and to have the opportunity to serve my legal profession, colleagues and the community,” said Kohl. “I am excited to contribute my skills and experience to help drive continued growth and innovation alongside my fellow board members.”

Kohl is a member of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate, Construction and Land Use groups. She regularly represents private and public clients in land use and zoning matters, municipal law, and real estate transactions. Prior to her board role, Kohl served as chair of the BCBA’s Municipal/Real Estate Law Section. She has also presented at numerous events hosted by the organization. A Berks County native, Kohl also sits on the boards of directors of The Friends of Reading Hospital and Berks Nature.
