For Immediate Release

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that our firm has been named one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in PA by Central Penn Business Journal for the second consecutive year. The awards are held in partnership with Best Companies Group.

Best Places to Work in PA is an annual honor that identifies and recognizes the most exceptional places of employment in Pennsylvania in three categories: small companies (15-99 employees), medium companies (100-249 employees), and large companies (250 or more employees). There are a total of 148 companies named to this year’s list. Barley Snyder is featured under the “large companies” category and is the only law firm included in this group. In 2022, the firm was named to the “medium companies” category.

“We are deeply honored to be acknowledged as one of the top workplaces among 46 other outstanding large-sized companies in the state. This recognition truly showcases our strategic growth – as our firm evolves, we continue to value and prioritize our employees,” said managing partner Jeff Lobach. “Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to our dedicated professionals for actively participating in this survey and generously sharing their positive experience within our firm.”

Best Companies Group, a company that conducts corporate surveys, managed the survey process and determined the final rankings. Two components were used to establish the rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second component consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75% of the total. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

“The 2023 Best Places to Work in PA winners put employees first. Excelling in business is not only about good customer service and the delivery of a quality product; it’s also about fostering a positive environment for innovative teams to thrive,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business. “These companies are innovators, creating new benefits and HR programs to assist with employee engagement and retention. We join the Best Companies Group in congratulating this year’s honorees.”

The winners will be recognized at a celebration on Dec. 7 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square Hotel where the final rankings will be announced.
