Barley Snyder Partner Justin Tomevi named to York YMCA Board

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partner Justin Tomevi has been named to the board of directors at the YMCA of York and York County.

The YMCA has four branches throughout York County, and strives to develop and implement programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Growing up in York County, Tomevi was involved with various Y programs and is glad to give back to a program that he benefited from in his youth.

“The YMCA programs throughout the county are critical to the health and well-being of thousands of members,” Tomevi said. “The Y helps the community with many essential services that otherwise could not be provided. I’m very happy to be part of the board that will help keep the YMCA going for future generations to enjoy its many benefits.”

Tomevi is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, as well as its Trusts & Estates Practice Group, the COVID-19 Response Service Team, the Construction Industry Group and the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Industry Group.

He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers “Rising Star” each year from 2016 to 2020. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is the vice chair of the York Legal Record Publication Board. Tomevi is also a former board member at the York JCC, a former member of the Springettsbury Township Board of Supervisors, the former vice chair of the York Area United Fire and Rescue Commission and is a Leadership York graduate.
