Malvern, PA – The law office of Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that two U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registered patent attorneys have recently joined the firm. Lin Axamethy Floyd and Kevin Myhre will practice from the firm’s Malvern, PA office and provide support for the firm’s additional offices throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Lin Axamethy Floyd is a Senior Of Counsel member in the Intellectual Property group. Her practice draws on an extensive in-house corporate career, focused on patent preparation, prosecution, and patent portfolio management and analysis. Lin holds her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.A. (Chemistry and Biology) from the University of Rhode Island. She focuses on biotechnology, as well as chemical, medical, and agricultural products technologies. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, Lin was a corporate patent counsel with E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and a consulting patent attorney for FMC Corporation.
Kevin Myhre is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group. He primarily focuses on patent prosecution, assisting clients in developing patent portfolios. Kevin holds his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.S. with the University of Virginia (Aerospace Engineering). He has technical experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. Kevin is a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. As an Examiner, he wrote patentability decisions on applications concerning control systems, or software programs implemented in mechanical devices.
