Alex is an associate in the firm’s Personal Planning and Business groups, having earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He practices in estate planning and estate administration. His practice also includes assisting clients on general corporate matters such as entity formation and corporate filings, as well as assisting nonprofit organizations in their formation, filing for tax exempt status and general governance issues. Alex also has represented clients in various Orphans’ Court matters, including guardianships, wills contests and issues regarding fiduciaries. In his business practice, Alex works with companies in succession planning for small businesses, including family-owned and closely held entities. He also works with the sale of companies, as well as acquisitions.
While attending law school, Alex worked as an intern in the school’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, and he is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, Alex also served as a summer intern for Judge Joseph M. James in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and as a summer associate at Barley Snyder.
Alex is also the capitain of the firm's softball team, which won the Lancaster Professionals League in both 2017 and 2018.
