For Immediate Release

Lancaster, Pa. – Forty-nine Barley Snyder attorneys have been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in its 2025 edition. Of the 49 attorneys, three have been honored with a “Lawyer of the Year” designation and eight have been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.

Since its launch in 1983, Best Lawyers’ peer-nominated lists have been recognized as one of the most reliable, unbiased sources of legal referrals nationwide. Only the top 5.7% of all practicing lawyers in the U.S. were selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in America®, and only 2% were selected to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.

“It’s deeply gratifying to see the exceptional work of our attorneys acknowledged and celebrated by their peers,” said managing partner Jennifer Craighead Carey. “This recognition marks a significant achievement in an attorney’s career, paying tribute to their hard work and steadfast commitment to their clients.”

The prestigious “Lawyer of the Year” accolade is awarded to attorneys who receive the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area within their geographic region, making it an exceptional distinction.
